Redefining to Where the Benefit of the Doubt Is in Your Hands, such and such

What is your "immune system" saying to you? Your cognitive/emotive and even "behavioural immune system" are saying to you ... what? The concept of an immune system that is conventional in meaning might paint a picture technically of something that is of basically no help ... and with patience might be a fine model opposing "first thoughts" that works with our thoughts, moods, and our behaviours. "In defense" does really sound rather a good fit in how we respond. Ah, I am finding recent behaviours I take part in to expand my limits. I do what Einstein called his "thought experiments" w/ a mind mapping technique from Buzan and de Bono from England.

Basically it is a brain dump, commonly a brain storming session, emphatically with no critic until suitable time has lapsed. A few hrs., a day, eight weeks. Writing the words down is good especially for later. It helps to get in a relaxed state, throwing out a word of interest, of a field, topic, a word/phrase of further investigating. I did a solely vocal/auditory exercise this morning takin about an hour? Maybe more or less? I tapped into connections I did not realise I had integrated into my thinking. Positive, negative, and neutral (the Rule of Three by our friend/author of Alice in Wonderland) ideas/words come to surface. Sometimes the path is not one you ever thought would be where you had indeed taken a "cognitive trip." Cold blank as a response you might not have anything conscious to say. A mapping of YOUR thoughts, connections, paths, and et c. can show, demonstrate, make even lucid where you are coming from, from experiences, from readings, discussion, internet, books, enlightened friends(?) and journalistic products, maybe even a meditation session where the "garbage" of the unnecessary overload passes its way.

While you show no resistance, letting the moment to happen, letting go, letting go more is revealed. If you are indeed blocked in creativity there are maybe very few ways better than to go than to a meditation, sitting, lying on one's back, whatever. Self-hypnosis and other relaxation techniques are worthy of being on the "tool belt," for a writer. If you want to go deep in your writing, writing supplemented wisely with explorative techniques such as these can aid, assist, and take you on the path your are searching, exploring.

Writing is a product of exploring. It is a behaviour. It is a process, and of course for the thousandth cup of coffee it is indeed introspection namely a descriptive activity whether it be seen, heard, achieved, read, imagined, lived, dreamed. We communicate best in description, and getting down to it is like Picasso's paintings, a way of keeping a journal. It is keeping track of what the "hey's" day it is in our lives. This is getting closer to the axiom of choice in definition amongst the efforts heartfelt and otherwise. Lets face it. The premise that we all come from differing backgrounds lays the concrete foundation. When Abel defines relaxation techniques to him the image-response is golfing, crewing even. His mind map told him that. His wife told him that. His best friend told him. The definition, an actual strict definition might be escaping him.

The situation he has, the work needed for better insight is say, still an open problem. And although he has examples that follow the rules he has in an unspoken way described well-defined "elements of the set" of words, phrases, images. He has a more conscious experience of to him what fits as "relaxation processes." What I am giving is a precursor, a prefix to more and a steady even and continuous insightful work. It is a maintenance dose no doctor can prescribe, a stability, a place even sacred.

Befriend the topic. Find out there are more topics. More words/phrases. Going really deep reveals healing of the incongruent self-defined and conventional meaning. I am reminded of an example in a book explaining Freud's psychoanalysis. A person needing and going through analysis, through therapy who had little interest in the world outside his own "small" world, was told to explore sports more, something he had an interest in. This gave him a tie with people rather than tense situations what the radio jockeys call dastardly "dead air." In fact analysts often will use the anxiety provoking dead air between client and self, a "stare down" where done rightly and long enough draws out the person and issues of importance. I am still searching.

I am search for meaning in words deeper (etymologies often, suggested to explore) than that of a clinical dictionary and conventional use. It is the search for common ties beyond surface, ties deeper, where like a deep lake near a common ground of tragedy and beauty is a common field, like an infective virus called "language" that creates fevered brow, creates an affection of sorts regarding being part of the human race, and creates progress of humanity however what ever size.

In this time of Hanukkah it is a remembrance, and that includes the remembrance of the small construct overcomes the larger, the larger resistance. The main remembrance is that of sacredness, the sacredness that of the temple, a symbol, an adjunct place of holiness, a reminder, a construct of purity in time/location/efforts of a people. Go deep and surface. Take the "swim in the ocean." To life!!! To life!

Now ... "describe" it. Go, go, go.

Thanks and a reminder. Our website is releasing visual images on Wednesday and blogs/podcasts on Saturdays. Thanks again, TE M.
