The New News Here; "Been a Week of Progress Evidently"

It has been a week of progress that went by comfortably where it seems to have been no progress. First ... Google says I have an IQ over 200. I am in MENSA but 200? "Beatles" me. Anyway on that line ... . Beatles line, "Momma said, There'd be days like these." In Dutch the expression is "Waar-near-to?" meaning "Where to?" We say in a writing circle I am in, "NRM" and "RMN," meaning abbreviated "Next Right Move" and "Right Move Now." Those are operations of modes/style, modus operandi, "M.O." It is the way we operate or call from ourselves to shift gears and "make the next right move." When in adolescence and driving the next big town had a "National Record Mart." We called it going to the NRM, ... er go, for example we were going to buy records, tapes, ... . It was a fantastic start, very hip. Writers pull from everywhere you see. Go ahead w/ permission from the "muses." Take from every part of your life, from others, what you have seen, done, read, felt, and imagined. Don't wait any longer. Here is one; writers borrow from everywhere. Excellent writers steal from everywhere. Be your own ethics committee. Then be ready to reap the consequences.

Well, what is going on here has been tremendous. After two years looking we finally found an enthusiastic (literally "filled w/ (theos) G_d, closely related to "inspired."), a very enthusisastic formatter. He had all the skills needed although until now had never sewn, put, sutured them together in what is called formatting in electronic books, an industrial term although fairly common. He is working also at a graduate program and we are working w/ the scheduling well. fairly, like a good contract. Both sides are benefiting.

If that weren't enough we found ourselves in a healthy situation where we are creating a thorough timeline that shows us where we have been, events, landmarks, the people we have come across (People are number One here.), and the lion's share of progress. I like to thing that the lion's share mathematically is the "eighty percent" of the goal that makes the most impact. We are going strong. Like the punk group says, "Never mind the bullocks," w/ what your obstacle is. And do abide by the laws and ethics please.

I am blessed w/ supportive people. One thing that happened was a luthier customer needed a bridge for her violin made to suit. She was "at the shop," talk moved to music scores and I grabbed my bragging rights telling her about our one hundred seventy-five tunes I had written/composed. I had jazz, new, klezmer, piano sonatas, new age flute accompanying piano and other fancy stuff. Well, puling out a manuscript I found a collection of tunes that were the original brief sketches of phrases, motifs, et c., meaning not the final works all staves filled. It looked pretty skimpy. I was embarassed to say the least and startled where things had gotten to. Motivation workshops kick in. This is an ideal time to get organized. So my assistant Eunice and I got busy for a productive two and a half hours finding after the sorting 267 scores bound and a hundred master copy "tunes" unbound. Also we found a master 567 measure tune my longest for over twenty minutes of playtime. Suggestion; Get organized. Do it as a regular part of your operation of writing. Believe me it is a skill well worth developing. And remember, "Organization is where the gold is"

Bye for now. We also have more entries in the photo gallery that have been up since the regular Wednesday tasks/chores this week. Enjoy your writing, let us know what you want, and ... tell a friend or family member!!!
